Placing your customers at the heart of your company’s business is a smart move, but what if there was a way to make that service matter not only to them, but also to wider UK society as a whole?
Launched at the start of 2025, RSVP Restart is a new call centre initiative being run in conjunction with G4S and His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service.
Operating a call centre facility based within the walls of HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough, RSVP Restart gives enhanced status prisoners in the last two years of their sentence the opportunity to work, earn a wage and to develop their skills and training – including delivery of an education programme linked to attaining a Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service.
Prisoners meeting the criteria will then be offered full-time employment upon release, which is hoped will play a significant part in reducing instances of re-offending – which according to Ministry of Justice figures falls by 50% in the first two years when individuals have a job when they leave prison.
In turn, this benefits not only the former offenders, but wider society as a whole. Companies participating in the scheme can point to the crucial role this plays in the UK, hopefully complimenting their existing work in the area of corporate social responsibility.
Furthermore, RSVP Restart is very competitively priced, providing the added benefit of reducing your overall operational costs.
If your company is interested in playing a positive role in the education and rehabilitation of prisoners – making a positive impact to society here in the UK, then please contact us to find out more.
